Project Manager

S&R Environmental Consulting is experiencing tremendous growth and we are seeking qualified applicants for the newly created position of Project Manager. As a Project Manager, your duties include, but will not be limited to, conducting monitoring to assess exposure levels to environmental hazards and ensuring proper custody of environmental samples. You will also perform asbestos surveys, air monitoring and other indoor air quality investigations. You will provide project oversight during asbestos abatement projects and prepare reports. You will ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You will also conduct mold inspections and write reports regarding those findings and prepare recommendations for protocols.

Certified Industrial Hygienist

S&R Environmental Consulting Inc is seeking qualified applicants for a position as a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH). As a CIH, your job functions may include monitoring exposure to environmental factors which affect employee health including exposure to chemicals, heat, asbestos, noise, radiation, etc. You may be responsible for report writing, recordkeeping and maintaining a medical monitoring program. You will be responsible for stringent monitoring and control of occupational safety regulations and programs. Your main priority will be the maintenance of good health among industrial workers. You will assess workplaces and attempt to minimize environmental health hazards in the workplace. You must have the ability to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and work to alleviate adverse working conditions that may cause illness or impair the health of workers. Such conditions may include excessive noise or the presence of dust, vapors, chemicals, and other potentially hazardous materials common to some industrial settings. You will collect air or water samples and monitor noise levels to determine if any harmful conditions exist.
